Many live cell microscopy workflows incorporate several steps and require two or more software applications before important data is revealed and a decision can be made. BioTek combines the steps into an automated, seamless workflow with Gen5 3.0 software and Lionheart FX Automated Live Cell Imager.
Not all microplate reader incubation systems are alike. BioTek’s 4-Zone incubation provides independent control of various areas of the incubation chamber resulting in effective heating, and Condensation Control prevents build-up in lidded plates, even in long-term incubated kinetics.
As its name suggests, BioTek’s Hybrid Technology combines two types of optical systems in a single multi-mode instrument, bringing the benefits of both to the laboratory.
Laser autofocus brings important benefits to automated microscopy. BioTek’s patent pending laser autofocus option, together with existing image-based autofocus in Cytation offers the user autofocus options to suit a wide range of biology.
When the plate washing workflow uses either or both 96 and 384-well plates, BioTek’s dual-action manifold can quickly, automatically and efficiently handle them both.
Clogged tubes in a microplate washer manifold can cause many assay problems and slow down the workflow. BioTek’s Ultrasonic Advantage quickly and automatically cleans the manifold tubes to keep the system running smoothly.
Quickly detect and locate clogged aspirate or dispense tubes in the microplate washer manifold with Verify. This unique feature helps prevent potential assay failure caused by incomplete washing.
Random Access Dispense (RAD) technology adds innovative single channel dispensing to the MultiFlo FX Multi-Mode Dispenser, for dispensing to individual wells and high volume dispensing to low density microplates for convenience and versatility.
For best performance, fast dispensing speeds, reagent savings and assay versatility, BioTek offers both peristaltic and syringe pumps on some dispensers and combination systems.
