BioTek’s Fluorescence Test Plate allows you to quickly check your fluorescence intensity detection system between more thorough instrument qualifications. It also assists in maintaining GLP compliance by automatically checking a series of critical performance parameters, including:

• Alignment
• Cross talk
• Signal-to-noise ratio
• Linearity
• Precision

The plate contains Inert Organic Fluorescent Compounds embedded in a polymerized matrix. Three different fluorescent labels are used: green, blue and red. A total of 84 wells with different properties are available on the plate. Most of the tests are based on the green label, using the standard fluorescein filter set (485/20 nm – 528/20 nm). The blue and red labels are provided for reference if additional testing is required eliminating the need to purchase multiple plates.

Each plate comes with serialized “Nominal Values” obtained on a factory-certified reader, and with an Excel™ spreadsheet that automatically performs data reduction and pass/fail analysis.

Note that the Fluorescence Test Plate can only be used with standard configurations of BioTek’s readers (standard fiber optics configurations).
